University Of Texas At Austin Tells All To Evacuate Campus

The University of Texas at Austin sent an emergency alert to all university students, staff and faculty telling all to evacuate the campus due to threats.

The message called for an immediate evacuation of all campus buildings, warning all to clear the campus and stay as far away as possible.

In a statement, university officials said it received a call at 8:35 a.m. "from a male with a middle eastern accent claiming to have placed bombs all over campus. He said he was with Al Qaeda and these bombs would go off in 90 minutes. President Powers was notified and it was decided to evacuate all of the buildings out of an abundance of caution," according to The Statesman.

Business Insider reports,"North Dakota State University is also telling students to evacuate. In a security alert posted at 9:49 a.m., the university confirms it received a bomb threat. The university is requiring all students to leave campus by 10:15 a.m."
